This framed original oil (31 X 25) is a contemporary Texas landscape. The title on the name plate is “Luke 21:27.” Clearly inspiring this artwork are the citation’s actual words: And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with powerful and great glory.
The striking painting has been generously donated by acclaimed Texas artist Samuel W. Baker. He is better known as Sam Baker here in Montgomery Country where he resided for many years. Sam has studied under some of the best landscape artists and has won several juried competitions. His paintings hang in homes and businesses from Texas to Kentucky to Colorado. Sam is represented by the Two Old Crows Gallery in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
