Creative Career Development for Artists
Young Texas Artists is proud to present Career Development seminars focusing on mental and physical wellness, financial literacy, personal branding, and more.
The first career development seminar of the 24-25 season will be in collaboration with Lone Star College. Ken Sebek, CPA, will present the first in a two part series on Financial Wellness. A video of the presentation will be available soon!
Our aim with the Career Development program is to help young artists create well-rounded careers. Our presentations will give them the tools they need to plan their finances, create personal brands, and center their physical/mental health, leading to sustainable careers in the arts.
Open to emerging artists in all disciplines, registration for career development presentations are reasonably priced and designed to be accessible for young artists. Recent YTA Music Competition contestants are offered free registration and finalists in the competition are offered extra, more personalized sessions with the facilitators.
