Planet Lincoln Signs on as Presenting Sponsor of Charity Classic & Fun Day
April Sound brings family-friendly fun to annual golf tournament, Saturday, Sept. 29
CONROE, Texas – Aug. 29, 2018 – On Saturday, Sept. 29, the 2018 April Sound Charity Classic & Fun Day, with presenting sponsor Planet Lincoln, will provide fun-filled family-friendly fundraising benefiting three Conroe-area nonprofits: Augie’s Quest; the Employee Partner Care Foundation; and Young Texas Artists Music Competition.
To be held at ClubCorp Family’s April Sound Country Club, 1000 April Sound Blvd., Montgomery 77356, the event is part of April Sound’s 11th annual ClubCorp Charity Classic. The Lincoln test drives begin at 10 a.m., with fun activities scheduled throughout the day, including a kid’s zone, cook-off, beer and wine garden, a ladies’ relaxation station and a silent auction.
The golf tournament begins at 1 p.m., the tournament dinner and awards will be held from 5-7 p.m., and the party on the patio is from 7-10 p.m.
“This is an event the whole family will enjoy,” said Mel Bogus, 2018 chairman of the Charity Classic & Fun Day. “We’re excited to help some very important area charities and hope to see a lot of families come out and spend the day with us.”
The full day of activities will be devoted to raising funds for Augie’s Quest, to help win the war against ALS; the Employee Partner Care Foundation, to help ClubCorp employees in times of need; and event partner Young Texas Artists, whose annual music competition continues to help produce many distinguished professional musicians.
